Ella Fund-Reznicek

Language Sciences Coordinator

Ella Fund-Reznicek is the Coordinator of the Language Science Initiative at UBC.  She is no stranger to interdisciplinary research:  she received an MA in Linguistics at the University of British Columbia in 2016, where she worked with Professor Eric Vatikiotis-Bateson on movement, coordination, and singing.  Prior to her time at UBC, she received a BA in Linguistics at the University of Kansas, working in Professor Robert Fiorentino’s Neurolinguistics and Language Processing Lab.

Research Interests

Music and language cognition; neuroscience of music and language; movement, gesture, and communication
